Designer:Leon Battista Alberti

Leon Battista Alberti* theorized its shape as that of a column pressed on a flat surface and slightly protruding.

From this concept comes our bookcase and, of course, its name.

Starting from a laser cut and then pressed sheet, we get the main vertical structural element, on which engage onto different horizontal surfaces that form a compact and aesthetically pleasing whole.

The flexibility of installation, thanks to various measures of its easily movable and interchangeable shelves, ensures a modular design for many different solutions and uses: simple bookcase, display elements in series or column.

Thanks to this functional flexibility and its exhibition adaptability, Parasta can be placed easily in most environments: from office to home, from library to store, to showroom.

A wide range of colours complete this new product which, although seemingly light and thin, is actually well placed on its base, just like a real architectural pilaster.
