After taking his first steps in interior design in his native Tarragona, Arola moved to Barcelona to study at the Eina school. After finishing his
studies in 1984 he embarked on a period of collaboration which would lead him to a number of different studios, first that of Alberto Liivore
and Jorge Pensi and then Associate Designers. In 1994 Arola founded his own studio and in a short time had produced all kinds of projects such as the washbasin he designed for ArtQuitect, a piece
which bonds his profession as an industrial designer with his passion for sculpture, travel and ancient cultures.
