Drawing its inspiration from traditional Japanese bathrooms and the tea ceremony, the Saltodacqua washbasin pays homage to the rituals most deeply ingrained in the culture of the Land of the Rising Sun. Thus, the stream of water used for personal hygiene purposes reproduces the bubbling of a rushing stream or the fluid and harmonious sound of the water flowing into a tea cup, and in doing so promotes inner peace. Born of the "Let's wash our hands" initiative developed in collaboration with istituto marangoni in 2015, the project unveils a perfect circle, 42 cm in diameter and 22 cm high, obtained by minimising the thickness of the ceramic.
