Rex Ceramiche Artistiche was established in 1968 at Fiorano Modenese.
It distinguished itself by introducing large sized ceramics on to the market, exclusive both with regard to graphics and in the application possibilities.

Its peculiarity, starting from the 1970s, was that to collaborate with professionals from different fields: this has led to unique results in the transformation and customisation of material, strongly contributing in defining Rex style identity.
It was the collaboration with Nicola Trussardi at the beginning of the 1980s to establish a new home decorating concept and enable Rex to identify itself in an exclusive path of elegance.

Rex became a Florim trademark in 1994.
