Alessandro Ruga (1975, Merate MB) graduates in 2006 at Politecnico di Milano as furniture designer. Afterwards he starts a collaboration as project manager at VC-A architecture and communication design studio in Milan.


Carlotta Perissinotto (1982, Pordenone) graduates in 2007 at I.U.A.V. di Venezia in restauration architecture.


In 2007 they move to London for an intensive work experience with Poliform where they work as interior and furniture designers. In 2009 they go back to Italy and start their careers as freelance designers and from 2010 they start signing together their project as CASA1796. Currently they collaborate with design offices and factories operating in furniture field as designers for products, exhibition stands, contract, show room layout plus activity as advisors and designers for factory communication, especially for corporate image and catalogues.
