
Paolo Favaretto
Paolo Favaretto was born in Padua and graduated in Architecture in Venice. In 1973 he set up his own design practice, now Favaretto&Partners.
He has acquired substantial international experience in industrial design and consultancy, collaborating with leading firms worldwide, earning important awards and acknowledgements.
As past president of the North East Delegation of ADI (Association for Industrial Design ), he was founder and president of the IIDD ñ (Italian Institute for Design and Disability , now DFA - Design for All ) and currently represents the ADI at BEDA (Bureau of European Design Associations ). He was also on the scientific committee of the European project IDIA (Inclusive Design and Intelligent Technology for Accessible Workplaces ).
He has been invited as a speaker to many conferences round the world, given lectures at various higher education establishments and his work has appeared in many specialist publications.
In 2007 he published an essay, Paolo Favaretto, industrial designer, edited by Il Poligrafo.
