Mark has worked in the construction industry his entire adult life and established McKenna & Company in 1978. Specializing in custom homes, enhanced by in-house computer-aided design service, McKenna & Company's legacy dots the landscape of Sedgwick, Butler, Sumner & Cowley Counties of Kansas.
Whether you select a plan from the portfolio, co-design a unique plan, or already have your "dream plan", Mark & his staff will be there, working with and for you from conception through move-in & beyond because "service after the sale" is the most important element of a McKenna & Company Home.

 

Currently McKenna & Company LLC, which, since 2001 has included Mark's son Ryan, lead carpenter and superintendent, are building in The Fairway @ Quail Ridge and Prairie Ridge in Winfield, Kansas. Additionally, various projects are occasionally underway in Wellington, Arkansas City, Udall, Derby, Andover, Rose Hill and many unincorporated areas of south-central Kansas.

 

Mark serves on the board of directors of the National Association of Home Builders, is a member of the National Remodelers Council, National Commercial Builders Council, NAHB Design Committee, past chairman on the Wichita Area Builders Association - where he serves on various committees and has received the prestigious Cornerstone Award for 2008 and is a member of the NFIB. Mark has also served as chairman of the Rose Hill Planning Commission and president of Rose Hill Economic Development. As part of the Winfield community, McKenna & Company are members of the Winfield Area Chamber of Commerce. After 19 years in Rose Hill, Mark & his wife Debbie have moved to Winfield. Mark & Debbie are members of Winfield First Assembly of God & have 3 grown sons & 6 grandchildren, (so far!). Mark & Deb's hobbies include traveling, camping & fishing and spoiling grandchildren. They have also been known to play an occasional round of golf!
