Philippe Nigro

Born on May 18th, 1975 in Nice France.

Lives and works in Milan as freelance designer and as assistant of Michele
De Lucchi since 1999.

At the 2007 Milan & Paris furniture fair, presents a system of modular and
evolutionary shelf for the house and the office realized with the helps to projects
of VIA (French association). Designed also the armchair twist
produced from Felicerossi.

At the same fair 2006, designed the sofa Tune for NubeItalia, participate to
the Opos Gallery exhibition with a clock project and realized with De Lucchi
tree lamps for Artemide.

At the furniture fair 2005 in Paris and Milan, presents an other shelf, which
brings to light the characteristics of the wood, also realized with the helps
to project of VIA .

At the furniture fair 2004 in Milan, present two programs of divans " Vega
" and "Vertigo" produced by NubeItalia.


These last years, realize for the studio De Lucchi, projects of products, furniture
design and interior design for:

Olivetti (printers and fax), Compaq (concept for new computers), Poltrona Frau
(divan and accessories "Orione", set of objects for the desk), Artemide
(lamp Sarisa, Lara and Tatlin), Telecom Italia (concept for new phone boxes),
Coromandel (artist's book(pound)), Van Cleef and Arpels (necklace realized in
series limited), Danese (stool sotto-sotto multigrip), Italian Post ( signboard),
Alias (storage system Layout), Caimi (system of display stands koala), Mondadori
(objects-presents connected to the universe of the book), Banca Intesa (concept
of furniture and images for the new agencies), Produzione Privata (lamp "
Lampo " & stool " Bisonte "), Unifor (concept of furniture
for the new Adeccos agency, competition for new benches of Milan), Design
Gallery (ceramic and vitrines " Ottimi Erori "), Colombo (handle "
Tool "), Feg (cupboard handle "Natural"), Rheavendors (automatic
coffee machine for Nestl), Aethra (supports for systems of video-conference),
Interni (The tower Sssht! Milan 07), development and scenography for exhibitions
of De Lucchi, also realizes stands and installations for Nava-design and Design-Italia
(with Mr Canali).
