Nicola Seta graduated in 2004 from the Faculty of Design at the Polytechnic University in Milan, where he also received a Master's degree in Industrial and Interior Design in 2005. It was here that he met Alessandro Pasotti.
He immediately began collaborating with the studio vc-a in Milan on a new settings and communication project for Ipercoop, a chain of hypermarkets. Then he began work alongside Alessandro Pasotti for Palazzetti on the development of a new collection of fireplaces, launched at the Salone del Mobile in 2007.
Nicola also collaborated in the design of various products for companies such as Italamp and Trend. In 2008, he and Marco Comincini founded the studio Rhizome Design, today known as Setacomincini Design Studio, which develops seats for Alma Estrosa Design.
He is also active as a freelance designer in various sectors.
