Rosario Sgroi was born in Floridia, province of Syracuse, Italy, in 1964. He graduated from the University of Venice in 1988, earning a Ph.D magna cum laude in Architecture.
In 1990 he founded "STUDIO ARCHE' ", and in 2000 the "ARCHE' Progetti".
His activities over the last twenty years have been many: architectural planning on small and large scale; he has taken part in the International Architecture Exhibit of the Biennale di Venezia in 1996; some of his works have been published in important architectural digests such as "Casabella" n. 607 (1993), "Catalogo della Biennale di Venezia, Electa (1996), "D'Architettura" n. 16 (1996), "L'Industria delle Costruzioni" n. 311 (1997), "Abitare" n. 367 (1997).
He is particularly interested in Design and has worked intensely in architectural planning and furnishing of public and privately owned buildings.
As to date he is involved in architectural planning on large scale, such as hotels, catering, spas and malls.
